Transfer Cases

When a CFC receives a new referral and find out that the client is actively enrolled in another CFC, what is the appropriate protocol? It seems to vary from CFC. At CFC#9, when we receive a referral and see that the client is active at another CFC we will contact that CFC and request the file. We will not pull the case until we have received the file. However, we have been experiencing other CFC's that will pull an active case without notifying us. They will then call for copies of the IFSP and evaluations. (Should the receiving CFC receive the complete file or just the current IFSP & evaluations. |
